What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites operate correctly and remember your preferences.
Cookies We Use
ComplianceCore uses strictly necessary cookies only. These are essential for the Platform to function. They cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality (such as logging in), and they do not track you for advertising or analytics purposes.
| Cookie Name | Set By | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
__session | Clerk | Maintains your authenticated login session | Session or up to 30 days |
__client_uat | Clerk | Clerk session security and anti-tampering token | Session |
__cf_bm | Cloudflare | Bot management and DDoS protection (infrastructure security) | 30 minutes |
All three cookies are strictly necessary under Art. 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive and its national implementations — they are required to provide the service you have explicitly requested. No consent banner is required for these cookies.
Cookies We Do NOT Use
At launch, ComplianceCore does not use:
- Analytics or tracking cookies (e.g. Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Hotjar)
- Marketing or advertising cookies
- Social media tracking pixels
- Performance profiling or A/B testing cookies
If we introduce any non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this notice and seek your consent before setting them.
Managing Cookies
You can manage or block cookies through your browser settings. However, disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from logging in and using the Platform.
